Most of my next blogs are going to focus on the idea of using what you have on hand in your pantry...or using leftovers from a recipe...so in that spirit:
Lavender Lemonade
I made a batch of Limoncello around Christmas time, and since you only use the peel...I turned the rest into a lovely lavender lemonade.
8-10 large organic lemons (I'd use 8 if you don't like it too strong)
Small sachet of dried lavender
Honey to taste
Squeeze all the lemons into a large pitcher, add small sachet of lavender (about 1 tablespoon in cheesecloth) and raw honey to taste. Fill the pitcher with ice cubes and put in fridge. When the ice melts...add cold water to fill the pitcher.
It's a delightfully soothing lemonade....
